Different projects arrive with different levels of information. The best starting point is the input that most clearly defines the blade and its operation.
A drawing is the clearest input
A dimensioned drawing should show the overall shape, critical lengths, holes, tolerances, edge geometry and any material or treatment note. Send the original file when possible.
A physical sample helps resolve geometry
An existing blade can be measured, photographed and copied for a replacement. Mark any worn areas and explain which dimensions must remain unchanged.
A machine model can define compatibility
For equipment with known tooling, the machine make, model and installation position may allow us to identify the required blade or request the missing details.
Agree the final specification
Whichever input is used, the dimensions, material, quantity and handling requirements are confirmed before manufacturing. This creates a shared reference for inspection and repeat orders.
